“ I love this place, football Sat & Sun are perfect. Welcoming staff, good food, great bars... and a smoking section if you need. Football weekend home. ”
“ This is PTCs best dive sports bar! Prices are great. Service is always fast, and food is better than expected--I would dare say good if you know what to order. There's a downstairs bar as well that is open depending on staffing. They're great about changing tvs to the games you want. This place appeals people of all ages. There's plenty of parking and it's easily accessible by golf cart--just right off the trails. It's a lot of residents' favorite. You may come home smelling like cigarette while they don't allow it in the bar with an area outside, it just reeks a little bit. The inside is a unique set up and enjoyable place to stop by. ”
“ First time here with the family. We are big fans of potato skins which are super hard to find on menus nowadays. Y-Knots were perfect! We also had fried pickles, wings, Caesar salad, chicken tenders, Philly steak sandwich....all great. Looks like a great place to watch a game. ”
“ Great Neighborhood Bar!!! Not fancy, just right! Everyone is welcome and regulars feel at home! ”
“ I was pleasantly surprised by this place. It's one of the only bars in Peachtree City, so it can get crowded, but the service was amazing! The waitresses were really on the ball and came around a lot to make sure we were doing okay. Tons of TVs so a great place to watch a game if you can get past some of the annoying Boomers that frequent it. The wings were solid, and nothing was too expensive (guess I'm just used to Atlanta prices). Overall great, definitely would like to go again next time I'm in Peachtree City. ”
“ I moved to Peachtree city in 1989. This is one of the original places where you can still walk in, still find the original decor, great service and yes, owners Jim and Marilyn Royal. The only thing missing is the smoke - up until a few years ago it was one of the last establishments where you could light up freely. (Not that I miss that in any way.) What still remains are some of the best wings ever, cold beer, friendly faces and friends: old, new and the ones you are going to make. Hope this place last forever! ”
“ Yknot is not a classy dining establishment, and despite not really being designed as a restaurant the kitchen serves up some pretty solid food. The wings in particular put most other places to shame. Especially chains like Zaxbys, where you can expect to pay almost twenty dollars for under sauced wings, undercooked fries, more ice than fluid in your drink, and have management try to nickel and dime you if you ask for wings "wet"... you know how everyone on Earth expects hot wings to be served. Yknot does a hell of a job putting the local wing chains to shame. Yknot is basically a time capsule of a bar from the late 70s or early 80s, and the average age of its patrons reflects this. I don't normally review bars, and in this case I'm technically not... I'm reviewing Yknot as a restaurant because it manages to do this secondary function really well. As a bar, I think Yknot is boring. Sure it has tons of tvs mounted all over the place for your particular sports fetish, but it needs some pool tables badly, and I never drink here for any extended period of time just because there simply not much to do. (though I'd still much rather be bored at Yknot than spend an evening fighting for entertainment like a cramped sardine in The Tavern on a weekend.) But frankly, all of this is besides the point, because weirdly enough, Yknot is an almost comically decent place for earnest American food. The sliders, the quesadillas, the nachos, and especially the wings are all quality products at a reasonable price. The staff are all good people, eager to do their jobs; and despite what the places lacks as a bar that would entice young people, the food is good enough to make you treat the antiquated establishment like a restaurant, even when that's not its primary focus. ”
“ OK. before I tell you incredibly awesome my sandwich was that will from this point forward be called "Karen's Way" , I have to set the stage for how this culinary discovery was made. 1. Here is a place that is basically a cool sports bar because it starts from a nautical theme and has very high ceilings, but in general one doesn't expect a lot from the food....just be "not-disgusting". 2. I like fried pickles "OK", but not something I think..."gotta have it" when it is on the menu. 3. They have this burger, think it is called fireside or something, that has a jalapeno mayonnaise, pepper jack cheese and fried pickles on a burger. Given that I sort of like pickles, love pepper jack cheese and any kind of hot mayonnaise;...I'm like "that sounds gooooood." 4. I try to eat actual hamburgers infrequently because of the inherent fat and cholesterol thing. So I thought, how bout instead of their regular grilled chicken sandwich, they prepare this hamburger, but with chicken tenderloins they use in the other sandwich instead. WAAALAAAA. I swear to my maker, it was almost like the BIG O for my mouth. You look for those moments when something you eat just is so awesome you can't stand yourself. My husband, who absolutely does not like pickles. with much pleading agreed to taste it. He said "it was OK, not something I'd try to eat". So to me, the very fact he wasn't repulsed being a non-pickle guy, means it was pretty darn good. I had to pace myself eating this awesome "Karen's Way" creation, by eating their very yummy home sliced and fried potato chips; So go to Y Knots to eat, drink, watch sports and be merry....and try the Burger that isn't a burger... Grilled chicken tenderloins with jalapeno mayonnaise, pepper jack cheese and fried pickles.....Karen's Way. ”
